The Minnesota DNR website has a wealth of information on the lakes in Minnesota. Under ‘Lake Resource Information’ click ‘LakeFinder’ and under ‘Find A Lake’ type in Mission Lake in Crow Wing County. You can find all types of information, specific to Mission Lake (or over 4500 lakes in Minnesota) including the new 2023 Fisheries Survey summary, Fish Stocking, Ice In/Out, Water Quality, Lake Depths and more.

We are pleased to report that, in partnership with Crow Wing County, we have been awarded 80 inspection hours for Mission Lakes public access sites.
In the past, through the active involvement & lobbying efforts by the Mission Lakes Association board, we had been allotted 90 inspection hours (45 hours per lake) from Crow Wing County for DNR access inspections hours.
This is the 3rd time since 2018 we have received inspection hours. The public access inspection hours are part of the 2025 Crow Wing County AIS Prevention Plan and we are thrilled to be working with our counterparts at the county & local level to achieve this.
